SODOMY 2 - Anwar: I could see from my vehicle that they were armed. Route was swarmed by police.

SODOMY 2 - Anwar: There were 10-15 commandos with submachine guns and wearing balaclavas. It was close to 1pm then.

SODOMY 2 - Anwar: On the way to my house in Segambut, saw unmarked vehicles blocking the route. Police patrol cars.

SODOMY 2 - Anwar: We said we were on our way to Segambut and would be at IPK at 2pm.

SODOMY 2 - He said he sent Param to Mont Kiara Golf Club, after lunch he went home for Zohor prayers and then went to IPK KL at 2pm.

SODOMY 2 - Anwar says at noon he was informed that police had summoned him to go to IPK KL at 2pm.

SODOMY 2 - Anwar: At 10am we were approached by Tuan Razali of MACC for series of interviews with regards to police report.

SODOMY 2 - It had to do with fabrication of evidence in the 1998 case. Accompanied by Param Cumaraswamy, Sivarasa Rasiah and Sankara.

SODOMY 2 - Anwar says he was arrested on July 16, 2008 at 1pm. Says he was called to Putrajaya to give evidence to MACC earlier.

SODOMY 2 - Courtroom is packed to capacity as Anwar takes the witness stand. He expresses wish to testify in English.

SODOMY 2 - Judge tells Sankara he cannot be in the courtroom then and Sankara leaves.

SODOMY 2 - Karpal: Anwar will be giving evidence and Sankara will be witness in trial within a trial.
